Aulendra terms and subscriptions

Version 2.0. Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of Aulendra, a study app for Mac, iPad and iPhone, together with the Aulendra website and related account services. Please read them with our privacy policy and cookie notice.

Who provides Aulendra

Aulendra is provided by Granwel Technologies LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17419846, with its registered office at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom. For customer help, use Support chat or the Granwel contact form.

Using these terms

By creating an account, subscribing to or using Aulendra, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, or use Aulendra with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The licence displayed for Aulendra in the App Store also applies to the app, as explained below.

Plans and prices

Both plans include the same features. These are the United Kingdom App Store prices; Apple shows the price for your storefront before you confirm a purchase.

Free trial

A 3-day free trial is available to eligible new subscribers. Apple decides eligibility within the subscription group, and creating another Aulendra account does not create a new trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and Apple charges the price of the plan you chose.

Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period, at the price then in force, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your Apple Account within 24 hours before each renewal, and tells you before a price change applies and whether you need to agree to it.

Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings, through Apple subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Uninstalling Aulendra, signing out or deleting your Aulendra account does not cancel a subscription.

Apple handles refunds; ask through Apple's Report a Problem. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Your account

You are responsible for giving accurate account information, keeping your sign-in details confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been used without your permission. A verified subscription belongs to one Aulendra account, and a subscription already linked to one account cannot be linked to another. Apple Family Sharing is not supported: a subscription shared through Family Sharing does not unlock Aulendra.

Restore Purchases checks your purchases with Apple and confirms ownership with Aulendra. It does not transfer another person's or another Aulendra account's subscription to you. Contact support if you need help recovering the account that owns a subscription.

Storage

Each subscribed account includes 2 GB of storage for notes and files you upload to Aulendra's cloud features, such as Shared Spaces where available. Material kept on your device or in your own iCloud does not count towards the 2 GB. When you reach the limit you cannot upload more until you remove something.

When a subscription ends

When no active subscription remains, existing academic work stays readable. Creating, recording, processing, planning, collaboration, uploads and ordinary export need an active subscription.

Whether or not you are subscribed, you can restore a purchase, ask us to delete your account and your data, and exercise your data protection rights, including a request for a copy of your personal information. Subscribing again restores access.

Your content

Your study material remains yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and display content you choose to upload or share, in order to provide the features you use. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use any material you add, and for what you share with others in a shared space. You must not upload anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.

Acceptable use

You must not use Aulendra unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to other people's accounts, interfere with its operation or security, copy or reverse engineer it except as the law permits, or use it to harm others. We may suspend or end access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

Artificial intelligence features

Some features use artificial intelligence to help you work with your material. Their output can be incomplete or inaccurate, and it is a study aid, not professional, academic or other advice. Please check anything important against your original sources and your institution's requirements. You remain responsible for how you use the output.

Intellectual property

Rights in Aulendra, including its software, design, text and branding, belong to Granwel Technologies LTD or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.

App licence

The licence displayed for Aulendra in the App Store governs use of the app. Where no custom licence is provided, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement applies. These terms explain Aulendra's subscription behaviour and do not replace the applicable licence or your statutory consumer rights.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Aulendra available and working, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or withdraw features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes. We may update these terms, and the version and date above show the current text.

Responsibility and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for business losses, and our total liability to you for claims connected with Aulendra is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.

Privacy

Optional diagnostic sharing is not a condition of buying a subscription. How we handle personal information, including account processing and diagnostics, is described in Aulendra's privacy policy.
